Tuesday, October 11, 2016 was a God Day. Yes, I meant God instead of good. Once again God has allowed me to walk through a door that He qualified me for, At 7:15 A.M. I had an opportunity to be interviewed by Jacque Reid on the Tom Joyner Morning Show. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month so I had a chance to share a little of my testimony and answer a few questions from Jacque and Tom Joyner. The interview was an amazing opportunity for me.
What really made this day a God day was the outpouring of love from friends and family. My Southwest DeKalb High School family really showed up and made me feel loved. The moment the interview was over my phone began ringing and chiming with messages, Facebook and Instagram post. I cried off and on all day long. I put my phone away and not look at it for awhile and then a few hours later I would look at it again and there would be more messages and post. I would begin to cry again.
This was one of the most memorable days of my journey. It was a day that showed me that I am definitely on the right path. This was a day that fueled my desire to empower women as I received calls from women near and far asking for help.
Today was a God day. This was a day that could have only been orchestrated by God. This was a day that I was a living example that God qualifies those He calls.
