Monica Day is an original Georgia Peach, born in Savannah, GA and raised in Atlanta since the age of 5 years old. Monica is the mother of two beautiful daughters, Jennifer and Kristina. Minister Day is the author of “Praying Through Your Storms” and the founder of Daylight Awareness & Prevention Agency, Inc. Monica also serves as the Georgia- State Action Leader for the Love Is Not Abuse Coalition.

Monica is a survivor of a 16 year emotionally, financially, sexually and physically abusive marriage. As a result of the abuse she endured, Monica knows firsthand the embarrassment, the pain and trauma a victim experiences. Monica has had many scars and bruises, black eye and busted lips. She also knows the frustration in putting her and her daughter’s lives back together.
